Exaptation refers to how a structure crafted by evolution for one function can be used by another species for a completely different purpose.
As an example, when I go to the fitness center and watch everyone lining up on their stair masters and elliptical trainers, they look very robotic in their movement.
However, then I watch a TV show on how the octopus moves and is able to express itself in a variety of creative, undulating, varietal ways—my mind-body goes, I want to move like that!
How we move is how we see. In this show, learn how Dr. Berne describes how become more fluid in our vision and movement leads to better health, aliveness, and creativity!
