Chemtrails are here to stay.  They are long-lasting trails left in the sky by high-flying aircraft that release chemical or biological agents that deliberately are sprayed for purposes  to bring more rain and neutralize global warming effects.

Contrails on the other hand dissipate relatively quickly.  Such trails are normal water-based contrails (condensation trails) that are routinely left by high-flying aircraft under certain atmospheric conditions
