Complementary Therapies To Help Eye Disease

In 2011, I received many calls and e-mails from people who had just been to an eye doctor and received the diagnosis: “you have cataracts, glaucoma, or macular degeneration.” Usually the diagnosis is followed by the treatment plan of let’s do a surgical procedure or even worse, they may report that there is nothing that can be done to save your vision.
Being in the eye care field for over 25 years, I have developed and researched many proven methods to reverse these and other vision conditions. In general, the eyes collect a great deal of free radicals in the tissues. Without proper lymphatic circulation, many eye tissues begin to age faster when the detoxification pathways are not working efficiently. Although, there is no cookbook approach, several research studies point to the fact that using highly absorbable supplements (without the toxic fillers found in most vitamins) can be beneficial in reversing many eye conditions.
Combining vision therapy to improve the functional skill of our eyes-brain-body with some type of natural remedy protocol can be very effective in improving one’s vision.
One of my favorite protocols to help improve eye health is the application of pure medicinal essences around the eyes. The specific essences I have found helpful are Frankincense, Sweet Fennel, Carrot Seed, and Saffron. I recommend applying 1 drop of each essence in a layering fashion 2-3 inches around the eyes, 3 times a day for a minimum of a week. In studies I have done using the Electrophotonic Imaging Camera, I have measured remarkable changes in many deteriorating eye diseases as well as improvement in the energy fields using this protocol. Many times, I have seen energy stagnation in the liver, gallbladder, stomach meridians which are causing tissue changes in the eyes. Using a specific protocol tailor-made for each individual can help a great deal.
Another protocol for specifically reversing cataracts is using two different sets of natural eye drops to dissolve early cataract formation. The first eye drop is called Can-C. It has N-Acetyl Carnosine which is a free-radical scavenger and very active against lipid peroxidation in the different parts of the lens of the eye. The second eye drop is called Cineraria. This eye drop is homeopathic and is a major lymph support for the eyes. The lens of the eye has no direct blood vessels bathing it, so the strategy is to help detox the free radicals and improve the lens circulation in the eye tissue using the Cineraria. When used together, the Can-C and Cinneria eye drops show a 90 percent success rate if used over a 3 month period. I have seen them work wonders with people.
Another important component for the tissue of the eyes is Vitamin C and bioflavonoids. The lens of the eye needs one of the highest amounts of Vitamin C in the body. I recommend 1000mg per day for cataract prevention. Bottom-line, you don’t have to live out the doctor’s diagnosis.
