Optic Nerve Blind Spot Enlarges

I recently saw a 58 year old woman who was suffering a growing blind spot in the optic nerve in her right eye. The specialists ruled out glaucoma, MS, and cancer, but they offered no answers for her in terms of cause or treatment options.
When she came to see me, we did some biochemical testing which revealed large amounts of lead and cadmium poisoning. These heavy metals wee the cause of her visual field loss. I explained part of the loss could be due to the fact that her liver was very stressed, which was causing the visual field loss. The liver rules the eyes in Chinese medicine
I offered 4 modes of treatment:
I prescribed special prism glasses that moved her visual midline into the visual field loss. This therapeutic optical system created more stimulation to the optic nerve, which immediately improved her balance and allowed her to see 3-D, again.
We started a nutritional program to chelate the heavy metals out of the body and increase her immune system. Part of the program included using an aromatherapy protocol that included Patchouli, Laurel Leaf, Black Cumin, and Fir Grand essences.
She began doing color therapy on her eyes to help re-sensitize the photoreceptors of the retina.
She did a daily Continuum movement practice where she applied the Mala breath, and visualized this breath increasing the optic nerve astrocytes to improve cellular nutrition, pH balance, and birth new optic nerve glial cells. She found this particular protocol very calming and rejuvenating.
After 4 months of doing the program, her visual field has been restored, and her visual system/ and health are robust! This case history teaches us that if one suffers eye symptoms, there could be a systemic reason why our eyes are letting us down.
Remember: As we can connect to our own biology for wellness, our eyes have the ability to heal!
