Daniel Kish was born with retinal cancer, and had both eyes removed at 13 months old. He started making clicking sounds with his tongue and at 47 he uses echolocation like a dolphin or a bat to ride his bike in traffic. He teaches blind people the art of the click.
He says that vision isn’t in the eyes it is in the mind. His story appears in the National Geographic Magazine July 2013 edition.
